Description
The Installation Technician installs, maintains, and engineers structured cabling, voice and data systems, networks, wireless equipment, central office equipment, and related telecommunications infrastructure. The role also manages tools and inventory, coordinates customer and vendor activities, completes quality assurance and final paperwork, and supervises subordinate technicians. It requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six years of telecommunications training or experience, Technician III-level proficiency, strong mechanical and telephony skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 50%.
