Description
The Installation Technician installs, services, and troubleshoots fiber-optic, video, telephone, and internet services for residential and other subscriber premises. Responsibilities include pulling low-voltage wire, installing and testing CAT5/CAT6 drop wire, activating customers, troubleshooting IP and telecommunications issues, and working an on-call rotation. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of cable, phone, and internet installation, testing, and troubleshooting experience, fiber-optic cabling experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights and on-call schedules.
