Description
Aspire Public Schools is hiring a Special Education Instructional Aide to provide personalized education and support to individual students and groups under the direction of special education and general education teachers and other service providers. The role implements IEPs and behavior intervention plans, assists with health and mobility needs, creates modified instructional materials, tracks progress, collaborates with the IEP team, and uses de-escalation and crisis-prevention strategies. An associate’s degree or equivalent college credit and passing of the Paraprofessional Test are required, while a bachelor’s degree in education, teaching, or a related field is preferred; at least one year of special education experience is preferred.
