The Instructional Assistant supports teachers by reinforcing lesson plans, assisting students in small groups or individually, providing classroom support, managing student discipline, scoring tests, and performing other related duties. This role involves working outdoors during PE classes and supporting Transitional Kindergarten students with toileting assistance. The position requires strong communication skills, especially for bilingual/biliterate roles, and the ability to maintain a controlled classroom environment.
