Description
Aspire Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support classroom teachers and provide personalized education to students during the school day and/or after-school programs. The role includes managing student behavior, developing lesson plans, assessing students, collaborating with teachers and families, supporting differentiated instruction, teaching intervention and acceleration, and co-teaching advisory classes. Candidates should have an associate’s degree or 48 college units, pass the Paraprofessional Test, and have at least one year of experience working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant; a bachelor’s degree in education, teaching, or a related field is preferred.
