Description
Central Oregon Community College is hiring a temporary, part-time Instructional Assistant – Criminal Justice to support the primary instructor in classroom, lab, scenario, and field experiences for the 2026–2027 academic year. The role assists with lectures, simulations, equipment setup, student questions, safety monitoring, grading, curriculum preparation, and classroom management, and requires an AAS degree in Criminal Justice or a related field plus three years of relevant coursework, field, or work experience. The position pays $30.00 per hour and may require evenings and weekends, physical participation in ORPAT and defensive tactics exercises, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
