Independently adjusts pace/approach of instructional materials.
Spends the great majority of time working with students.
Curriculum consists of multiple grade levels.
Demands greater patience due to slow learners or behavioral problems.
May be subject to greater physical and verbal abuse.
Errors/poor judgment may not only impact the educational program and public image, but potentially result in significant student confrontations.
