Description
Instructional Support Assistants provide academic tutoring and general student support to help students become independent learners and succeed academically, while also assisting faculty and staff with daily operations. The role emphasizes maintaining a welcoming learning environment, following institutional procedures, demonstrating confidentiality and professionalism, and working various hours across campuses as needed. Candidates must have an associate degree, completed college algebra through calculus I with strong grades, and at least a 2.5 GPA; a bachelor’s degree in math or related field and prior teaching or tutoring experience are preferred.
