Description
The temporary substitute Virtual Reality Laboratory Assistant supports instructors and students in a VR laboratory, makerspace, or similar immersive learning environment. Responsibilities include reinforcing instruction, guiding students through VR systems and fabrication equipment, scheduling and managing equipment, maintaining lab environments, providing software and hardware troubleshooting, tracking student participation, and maintaining records. The role requires an associate’s degree or equivalent and two years of experience supporting instruction, laboratory operations, or technical environments involving VR, immersive technologies, makerspaces, fabrication, or similar hands-on learning environments. It is a 40-hour-per-week Monday-Friday position, subject to funding, and requires submission of a resume and transcripts.
