Description
The After-School Substitute Teacher leads and supervises 1 to 20 school-aged children in an assigned after-school program, assists with planning and implementing activities, provides tutoring and homework help, maintains student safety and records, supports classroom and outdoor activities, and performs clerical and administrative duties. The role requires high school completion supplemented by college-level child development coursework and two years of relevant experience or equivalent volunteer experience; first aid and CPR certificates are preferred. Applicants must pass a training and experience assessment and a second examination to be placed on the eligibility list.
