Description
The position provides remedial reading and math support to students individually and in small groups under the supervision of a classroom teacher. Responsibilities include supporting diverse learners, communicating with students and school staff and parents, maintaining records and reports, using assessment data for instruction, and applying knowledge of student development, technology, and Common Core standards. The role requires at least 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university and previous school-based tutoring experience; it reports to the principal and is classified as non-exempt.
