Description
The Nursing Instructor teaches theory, laboratory, and clinical courses to first- and second-year nursing students in Piedmont Community College’s evening and weekend cohort. Responsibilities include developing and delivering lectures, creating and supervising labs, evaluating student performance, managing classroom and clinical assignments, grading work, maintaining records, developing course materials, and participating in program evaluation and student recruitment. The role requires a master’s degree in Nursing, 9 semester hours or 45 continuing education hours in Nursing Education, and two years of full-time bedside nursing experience, along with a valid driver’s license, nursing license, and Basic Life Support certification.
