Description
The posting describes an in-home support role serving intellectually and developmentally challenged adults in their homes and communities. The role provides first-hand training and developmental support across daily living, mobility, coping, community navigation, money management, safe self-medication, and other customized interventions; documents reporting; communicates with stakeholders; and participates in training and team meetings. The schedule is a day shift with Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age, relevant experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, a current driver’s license, California automobile insurance, and English proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
