Description
The Behind the Wheel Delegate (Instructor) delivers hands-on driving instruction to new drivers, evaluates their skills, provides feedback, maintains safety, records student progress, and prepares them for driving tests. The role requires a valid driver’s license, state-required Behind the Wheel Delegate certification, at least two years of driving experience, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Preferred qualifications include behind-the-wheel instructor experience, defensive driving knowledge, familiarity with state laws and testing procedures, CPR and first aid certification, and experience working with diverse groups.
