Description
The employer is hiring an adjunct Clinical Massage Instructor to teach Clinical Massage courses, including didactic, skills, clinic, and supervision instruction, while meeting North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy and Community College System requirements. The role also involves modeling service, monitoring supplies, maintaining safety and sanitation, keeping student records, and collaborating with instructors, coordinators, clients, peers, and students. Applicants must have a regionally accredited degree, two years of documented exceptional work experience as a licensed massage therapist, a current North Carolina massage license, adult-teaching experience, clinical massage subject-matter experience, and computer literacy; a bachelor’s degree, community college teaching experience, five years of massage-therapist experience, and adult-education training are preferred. The position pays $31.00 per contact hour.
