Description
The adjunct faculty member will teach English, Communications, Speech, and other qualifying disciplines in the Communications Department, including Triton Live, virtual instruction, and travel to area high schools, academies, and other centers. Responsibilities include organizing and delivering courses, assessing and providing feedback to students, recruiting for general education and transfer-major classes, maintaining records, participating in professional development and department activities, and supporting college initiatives. A master’s degree in English, Communications, or a closely related field is preferred, while a master’s degree in another field plus 12 graduate credits in a related field is considered; teaching or training experience is also preferred.
