Description
The full-time Law Enforcement Training Instructor / Coordinator delivers criminal justice and public safety training, including classroom, laboratory, scenario-based, and practical skills instruction; develops course materials and assessments; evaluates and advises students; maintains training records; and supports program coordination, accreditation, compliance, and community partnerships. The role requires an associate degree, current North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission General Instructor certification, and ten years of sworn law enforcement experience, with additional instruction and experience requirements.
