Description
The Instructor, Information Technology teaches assigned courses, advises students, evaluates progress, uses instructional technology, and supports laboratory and clinical learning. The role also includes advising, degree audits, recruitment and retention support, curriculum review, administrative reporting, and participation in college committees. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Information Technology, plus two years of work experience in Information Technology or two years of secondary or post-secondary teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include community-college teaching experience, AI and data technologies, AWS or Microsoft certifications, and Cisco certifications.
