Description
Oregon State University-Cascades is hiring one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track full- or part-time Instructors for its Master’s in Fine Arts program in Bend, Oregon. The Instructor will teach term-by-term courses in Fiction Writing, Creative Non-Fiction, or Poetry & Poetics; mentor MFA students on thesis projects; hold office hours; complete course assessments; and contribute to thesis committees, faculty meetings, curriculum development, and minor administrative work. The posting covers the 2025–2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026, with applications considered throughout and anticipated start dates of September 16, 2025, December 16, 2025, or March 16, 2026. Applicants need a relevant master’s degree, a book-length publication or contract, and college- or university-level teaching experience; an MFA or PhD in a related field and experience with online teaching are preferred.
