Description
Houston Community College is seeking a part-time Instructor Public Safety Telecommunicator to teach 9-1-1 Public Safety Communications courses, facilitate student learning, advise students, and support departmental and community activities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant 9-1-1 public safety communications experience, completion of a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement-compliant telecommunication-training program, and the ability to teach at multiple sites. Three years of training and leadership experience and prior academic or professional teaching experience are preferred.
