Description
Milwaukee Area Technical College is seeking Sociology faculty for its General Education Pathway. The role involves developing and teaching Sociology courses in person, online, or hybrid, managing classrooms and curriculum, assessing students, advising on academic issues, and supporting recruitment, program evaluation, and professional development. The position is part-time and available for the spring semester beginning approximately mid-January 2027; assignments are temporary and vary by course availability. Applicants must have a master’s degree or higher in Sociology or a related field with at least 18 graduate-level Sociology coursework credits, and the starting compensation is $40 per course hour of teaching plus $70 per hour for office hours and preparation time.
