Description
Revolution Workshop is hiring a full-time, year-round Construction Instructor in Chicago, Illinois, to train approximately 25 or more pre-apprentice trainees in construction fundamentals, hands-on projects, safety, teamwork, and job-site readiness. The role includes technical instruction, trainee assessment, shop and equipment management, coordination with case management and other instructors, and occasional offsite projects. Candidates need at least five years of construction or journey-level experience, strong communication and planning skills, and preferably carpentry, OSHA, trauma-informed coaching, and supervisory experience. The position pays $60,000–$67,500 annually and includes unlimited PTO, an employee assistance program, professional development, ICHRA medical reimbursement, disability coverage, and a 403(b) match.
