Description
Western Piedmont Community College is hiring a full-time, nine-month Instructor of Welding to teach classroom and hands-on laboratory welding courses, mentor students, support academic and workforce readiness, maintain laboratory safety, and contribute to curriculum and program improvement. Applicants must meet North Carolina Community College System faculty credential requirements, with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Career and Technical Education with a focus in Welding, or a related field; alternatively, an associate degree in Welding Technology or a related field plus verifiable field experience. Three or more years of directly related industrial welding experience, welding certifications, teaching experience, and instructional technology experience are preferred.
