Description
The role designs and develops scientific instruments, covering mechanical and optomechanical design, thermal analysis and temperature-control systems, electronics architecture, resource budgets, system documentation, and hardware prototyping and testing. It requires a graduate degree in a relevant engineering or physics discipline, SolidWorks proficiency, thermal-analysis experience, and prior experience in scientific instrumentation or analytical device development. The position is permanent and full-time, with flexible working hours and a Swiss work context.
