Albemarle is hiring an Instrument Mechanic 1/C for an in-office position in Pasadena, Texas. The role inspects, calibrates, maintains, and repairs critical instrumentation, control valves, flow meters, temperature elements, gas detection systems, electrical components, and process equipment; troubleshoots instrumentation and process-control issues; and supports safe and efficient plant operations. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, NCCER certification in Industrial Instrumentation, at least five years of industrial instrumentation experience in a petrochemical or similar environment, at least two years of industrial electrical systems experience, and the ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic, and analytical instrumentation systems. The role also requires willingness to cross-train as an electrician, work overtime, and support shift schedules.
