Description
VulcanX Energy Corp. is hiring an experienced part-time Instrumentation and Control Engineer for 15–20 hours per week to support the FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations of hydrogen production plants. The role involves P&ID development, instrument and control system design, vendor review, control narratives, shutdown analysis, and commissioning, with a focus on pressurized systems, high-temperature hydrocarbon pyrolysis, corrosive environments, and hydrogen systems. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, Alberta P.Eng. certification, and 5–10 years of relevant oil and gas or chemical process design experience; it is a contractor engagement with occasional field travel and a competitive hourly or fractional engagement compensation model.
