Description
The Industrial Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician is a journeymen-level field role responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting instrumentation, control systems, sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLC/DCS I/O, and associated electrical and electronic equipment at heavy industrial customer facilities. The role supports new construction, maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, upgrades, commissioning, and emergency troubleshooting, requires travel to customer locations, and involves work in active operating environments, heights, confined spaces, and near energized equipment. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, industrial instrumentation or related technical training, and at least five years of progressive industrial instrumentation and controls experience.
