Sargent & Lundy is seeking a full-time, on-site Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineer for their TRISO-X Fuel Fabrication Facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The successful candidate will work on major process controls engineering projects for upgrading and modifying nuclear power plants, focusing on digital systems like PLC, DCS, touchscreen displays, and network switches. Responsibilities include developing functional requirements and procurement specifications, evaluating instrumentation replacements, designing mechatronic control systems for various plant equipment, attending client meetings, performing site walkthroughs, and mentoring junior engineers.
