Description
HDR is hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to design, coordinate, document, and support commissioning of SCADA and industrial control systems for building engineering and related infrastructure projects. The role includes developing P&IDs, network architecture diagrams, control panel and wiring drawings, loop drawings, and technical specifications; coordinating with electrical and process engineers; leading design reviews, studies, master planning, construction administration, and client field assessments; and supervising staff as needed. The position requires an engineering bachelor's degree, a PE or P.Eng. license, at least 5 years of applicable experience including at least 3 years in control systems design/programming, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with SCADA, HMI platforms, automation hardware, industrial networks, instrumentation, systems integration, startup, and commissioning is preferred.
