Description
LanzaTech is hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Technician for its Skokie Headquarters / R&D Center. The role supports laboratory, pilot plant, and process development operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, modifying, and commissioning instrumentation, low-voltage electrical systems, safety alarm and shutdown systems, PLC-based controls, pneumatic gas-handling systems, and related control hardware. The technician will collaborate with engineers, researchers, operations, and EHS professionals and maintain technical documentation while supporting equipment procurement, upgrades, and commissioning. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least six years of progressively responsible industrial instrumentation, controls, and electrical maintenance experience.
