Description
The Instrumentation & Electrical Reliability Engineer ensures the reliability of unit instrumentation and low-voltage electrical systems in a petrochemical or industrial manufacturing setting. The role focuses on long-term reliability strategy, reliability approvals, failure investigations, root-cause analysis, audits, OEE loss classification, repair prioritization, training, and oversight of instrument and electrical care plans. It also involves technical review of engineering projects, equipment selection, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, engineering, and OEM teams. The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at least 12 years of relevant industrial maintenance or reliability experience, and expertise in instrumentation, low-voltage electrical systems, troubleshooting, reliability methodologies, and safety protocols.
