Description
The Instrumentation Technician II installs, builds, modifies, adjusts, and calibrates test equipment and instrumentation in development vehicles, including sensors, fiber optics, accelerometers, strain gages, and data acquisition systems. The role also installs low-voltage automotive wiring harnesses, diagnoses and repairs electrical systems, performs functional inspections and prove-outs, and collaborates with customers, fabricators, and mechanics. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of instrumentation technician experience are required, along with experience in soldering, crimping, tube bending, component layout, and packaging.
