Description
The Intake Specialist supports the full intake cycle for prospective ABA therapy clients by receiving and processing referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, coordinating documentation and prior authorizations, communicating with families and referral sources, maintaining accurate intake records, and collaborating with billing, clinical, and scheduling teams. The role works under the direction of a Lead Intake Specialist and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of relevant healthcare intake or administrative experience, and strong communication, organizational, and HIPAA compliance skills.
