Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hiring Scientific and Technical Intelligence Analysts for its Science and Technology Assessments Program within the Global Security Directorate’s Z Program. The role involves independent research, problem definition, data collection, report writing, and presentation of analytic findings on advanced, emerging, and critical technologies relevant to national security. Analysts will collaborate with government stakeholders, subject matter experts, sponsors, and partners, and may lead multidisciplinary teams at the SES.3 level. The position requires full-time on-site presence, an active DOE Q-level or Top Secret clearance, SCI access, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; SES.3 candidates may also need a master’s degree. The annual salary range is $146,340–$222,564, with separate ranges for SES.2 and SES.3 levels.
