Urban Grid is hiring an Interconnection Engineer to lead interconnection activities for solar and storage projects across PJM, MISO, SPP, and SERC markets. The role manages interconnection applications and studies, develops interconnection strategies, monitors queue projects, assesses network upgrades and congestion, and negotiates interconnection agreements. The position is hybrid in Houston, Texas, with four days in the office and Fridays remote, and requires a B.S.E.E., at least three years of electric utility experience, and familiarity with substation and regional interconnection processes.
