Cherry Bekaert is partnering with an established mission-driven organization to hire an experienced Interim Controller for a consulting engagement in the Washington, DC Metro Area. The role provides accounting leadership during a transitional period, overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit readiness, tax and compliance activities, process improvements, and accounting controls. The position is hybrid, requiring two days in the office, and requires nonprofit accounting knowledge, Sage Intacct, and Netforum experience.
