Description
The Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician performs aircraft sheet-metal maintenance in a warehouse/production environment. The role requires effective communication, mechanical aptitude, tool use, and the ability to work in noisy, dusty, and chemically exposed conditions, including lifting 50 pounds, working in confined areas, climbing ladders and platforms, and working at heights up to 50 feet. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, while one year of aircraft sheet-metal experience, an FAA Airframe license, and related maintenance experience are preferred. The position also requires 1 to 3 years of aviation maintenance experience or graduation from an aviation technical or A&P school.
