Description
GHD is hiring an intermediate/senior Building Mechanical Engineer to join its multidisciplinary design center serving Eastern Canada. The role is based in the Greater Montreal area, with possible work in Brossard, downtown Montreal, Ville St-Laurent, or elsewhere in Quebec. Responsibilities include designing ventilation, heating, air-conditioning, stormwater, sanitary, and domestic water systems; developing engineering standards; mentoring and coaching engineers; participating in construction monitoring; managing and coordinating HVAC projects; supporting knowledge management; and contributing to client management. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, membership in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, at least five years of HVAC design experience, knowledge of relevant building and plumbing codes, energy-efficiency and simulation knowledge, and proficiency with HAP, Trane, REVIT, and AutoCAD.
