Altec Integrated Solutions is hiring a full-time Controls Engineer/Technologist to design, program, commission, and document advanced control systems for client projects. The role covers electrical schematics, PLC and HMI programming, functional specifications, equipment procurement, shop-floor collaboration, technical mentoring, and compliance with industry standards. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma of technology, at least three years of control-system experience, proficiency with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, AutoCAD or EPLAN experience, and significant travel for commissioning. Compensation is $75,000–$90,000, with RRSP matching, extended health benefits, and a fitness/wellness allowance.
