CQG Consulting, part of Beca, is hiring intermediate-level ecologists for its Rockhampton, Townsville, and Brisbane offices. The role involves delivering ecological services, conducting flora, fauna, and habitat surveys, handling fauna capture and relocation where authorised, preparing ecological assessments and reports, contributing to proposals and fee estimates, and building relationships with clients, project teams, regulators, and stakeholders. Candidates need practical Australian ecology experience, relevant field and fauna expertise, a degree in ecology or a related discipline, knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental legislation, strong communication and data-analysis skills, and a current Australian driver’s licence.
