GHD is hiring an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its team in Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington. The role covers project delivery from feasibility through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and post-construction, with technical advisory support for industrial and renewable power clients across wind, solar, battery energy storage, and hydroelectricity. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, supporting business development and client engagement, preparing proposals and technical documentation, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least five years of electrical engineering experience, industrial electrical design experience, and knowledge of industrial electrical supply, distribution, instrumentation, control, and automation. The role follows a hybrid model with three days in the office.
