CIMA+ is hiring an Intermediate Electrical Substation Technician / Technologist to support LDC and generation projects. The role involves developing preliminary and detailed substation and generation facility designs, performing site surveys and calculations, preparing bills of materials and cost estimates, coordinating with clients and other disciplines, obtaining permits, and preparing as-built drawings. The position is primarily based in the home office with occasional travel, and can be based in Ottawa or Mississauga. Candidates need a post-secondary electrical technology degree or diploma, more than seven years of electrical layout experience in the energy sector, CAD knowledge, and a valid provincial driver’s license.
