Description
GHD is hiring an Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer for its Eastern Canada team, with the position potentially based in the Greater Montreal area or Quebec City. The role focuses on hydrological and hydraulic analysis, dam design and reviews, dam-break simulations, flood mapping, site inspections, statutory reports, and the rehabilitation and construction of hydraulic infrastructure. The engineer will also supervise and mentor junior staff, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and occasionally travel to regional locations. The posting requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, 3 to 5 years of experience, French proficiency, and familiarity with hydrological and hydraulic modeling software.
