Description
The Intermediate Mechanical Designer owns assigned mechanical design scope for automation projects, cells, stations, or subsystems. The role converts customer requirements into practical CAD designs, prepares drawings, bills of materials, sequences, I/O lists, and valve bank layouts, selects components, coordinates with electrical, controls, project, customer, supplier, machine-shop, and assembly teams, and supports build, debug, testing, installation, and issue resolution. The position requires a relevant degree or diploma and 6–8 years of mechanical design experience, with SolidWorks, PDM, AutoCAD, and related engineering tools. The base pay range is CAD $37.84–$52.04 per hour.
