Description
BMT is hiring a Senior Naval Architect - Submarine Structures for permanent full-time work in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Ottawa, Ontario; or Victoria, British Columbia. The role covers naval architecture calculations, stability, structural strength, hydrodynamics, seakeeping, resistance and propulsion, feasibility and concept design, ship surveys, condition assessments, and professional engineering deliverables for submarines and other marine platforms. Candidates must have a degree in Naval Architecture, at least four years of Naval Architecture experience, professional engineering registration or the ability to obtain it in the province of work, and eligibility for a Canadian security clearance.
