GitLab is hiring an Intermediate Security Engineer for its Security Incident Response Team to detect, investigate, contain, and recover from security incidents across GitLab.com and GitLab. The role operates on a compressed four-day work schedule with Sunday-through-Wednesday shifts providing 24/7/365 coverage, and includes incident response automation, runbook and post-incident analysis work, security tooling, and cross-team collaboration. Candidates should have incident response experience, SIEM or security logging experience, cloud platform experience, Python skills or willingness to learn, and interest in forensic analysis and cloud-based security investigations.
