Description
Binnie is hiring a full-time, office-based Survey Technician for its Geomatics Group in Burnaby. The role processes and analyzes survey data for highway engineering and land surveying projects across the Lower Mainland and British Columbia, using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D to create surfaces, contours, alignments, cross sections, plans, and other drawings. Responsibilities also include interpreting field data, researching land titles, performing survey calculations, quality control, and supporting project managers. Candidates need a diploma or degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology or GIS, at least three years of related Survey Technician experience, one year of field experience, and knowledge of survey calculations, traverse adjustments, control networks, and British Columbia land titles.
