Description
This entry-level Cemetery Grounds Maintenance Associate maintains grounds at cemetery or funeral home locations. Responsibilities include assisting with interments, entombments, and inurnments; helping determine grave locations; performing minor repairs; maintaining inventory and complying with cremation regulations under supervision; moving and installing burial vaults; mowing, snow removal, watering, fertilizing, trimming, and inspecting grounds; removing debris; and operating lawn and grounds equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of relevant experience in landscaping, general construction, warehouse work, or physical labor, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
