Description
The Interment Specialist opens, closes, and maintains cemetery graves, mausoleums, crypts, and niches while following company, state, and federal regulations. The role involves locating graves, operating company vehicles and equipment, reading interment orders, responding to work requests, maintaining safety standards, and working with grieving families. Candidates need landscaping, construction, warehouse, or physical-labor experience, a valid California driver’s license, hand-tool and equipment skills, mechanical ability, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Compensation is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits dependent on eligibility.
