Description
ConGlobal is hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator, also known as a Terminal Operator, to operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders in an intermodal yard. The role involves loading and unloading shipping containers from railcars and trucks, positioning chassis, stacking and organizing containers, performing equipment inspections, coordinating with yard personnel, and maintaining safe work practices. The position requires a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders and stairs, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and successful background, physical, and drug screening. Previous heavy-equipment experience is preferred, along with intermodal or rail-yard experience and familiarity with container-handling equipment.
